| One of Ellora's Cave's "Not-so-Grimm" Fairy Tales, The Frog Prince from
Planet Marécage was a silly, scintillating tale with a most satisfactory
ending.
Princess Shari doesn't enjoy her life of luxury. The House of Teres has
strict rules regarding reproduction, and they keep their daughters under
wraps. Real ones. The protective bubbles that guard the princess from
outsiders - particularly male ones - are armed with dead-shot lasers.
Unfortunately they can't zap Shari, or her promises.
When Lesally the 13th, a frog from the largest mudflap on the primative planet of Marécage, claims to know the whereabouts of the princess's prized golden ball, Shari promises the creature anything for the item's return. Her royal word leads the young woman down a path of certain aversions, and the frog to a world he's determined never to forget. Samantha Winston's witty retelling of this children's tale is irresistibly naughty and unique. Readers will delight in the ending that delivers love, justice, and sizzling discoveries to this sullen princess and her shifty admirer.
