This story was like a witty Aesop's fable for adults. The author always seems to write a thought provoking story for today's society and this was no different. The characters of Jake, Todd and Fallon are conceited jerks and not very likeable in the beginning. But as the story goes on and they begin to change perspective and we begin to see that each had a life experience that made them they way they were. Though a good story, I was only really empathetic with the sub-characters, the main characters left me feeling annoyed and hoping that any changes they experienced would last because that was all that could redeem them to me. There are some m/m situations but nothing explicit or offensive. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes stories that deal with real issues in today's world.
