It seems like every single scene or character conflict, and their reaction, is perfect for the story, richly enhancing it. This author knows how to play on her reader's fantasies, turning up the heat from the very first page to the last one, engaging the heart along the way. Chase, Alex, and Jasmine are well-rounded characters, full of energy, heat, and an endearing quality that is intriguing. Even though it has been ten years since Jasmine has seen Alex or Chase, the connection seems fully developed and believable for the reader. The chemistry between them seems to pulsate with a sizzling sensuality that is highly arousing and yet the tender touches and heartfelt feeling add to the bond between the lovers. The sex is red hot, seductive, and playful. Ms. Andrews does a superb job of making the struggles as well as the love a believable and undeniable force. Truly spellbinding!
