| Brie Donovan glanced out of the patio door and giggled. She had done it! Since high school when Brie had caught Billy Gage under the school bleachers having sex, she could not get him out of her mind and how erotic it looked. Oh, she thought she had when she met Nick Drake at her friend's graduation party and at eighteen she fell in love on the spot when he kissed her, and it did not matter that he was seventeen older than her. The moment that Nick made her a woman Brie knew that she could not live without him--until she learned that he was married. Brie had been heart broken. After a time Brie landed a job in a lawyer's office where she made good money and eventually moved out of the farmhouse that her parents left when they died in a freak accident when she was three and her brother was thirteen. Their aunt and uncle had sold everything then moved in to care for her and her brother until Keith graduated from college, then they retired to the south. When Keith married his high school sweetheart and had two children Brie knew that it was time for her to move out. Oh, she loved the quiet of the country, but she loved the city more. Brie had been wined and dined by the elite men her job forced her to be around, but she craved the bad boy in Billy Gage. She was lured to his instability and she just had to have him if only for one night!
Nicholas Drake knew that he messed up big time with Brie. When he first saw her sitting in the garden at her friend's graduation she looked like an angel, with her long flowing black hair and sky blue eyes. There and then he set out to seduce her. Their affair lasted months, until she found out that he was married and she quickly ended their good thing, Now it was five years later and Nick wanted her back! Was it too late for him now that he was free? Ms Terry is a gifted and brilliant writer that will have you rapidly turning pages and at the same time feeling sorry for Brie, but wanting to kill her at the same time for her ignorance, and banging your head while yelling at the top of your lungs: STUPID! STUPID GIRL! I look forward to reading more of Ms. Terry's work. This one is a keeper readers!
