This book opened with Maisy Collins in a very interesting sexual position—no, wait—she’s not having sex, she’s trying to fix the leaking kitchen faucet! And Maisy had to admit defeat…she just could not get it right. Finally, calling a plumber became necessary. On her 46th birthday, Maisy was facing empty nest syndrome; her twins, Nick and Anne, had just left to attend college several hours from home. Her ex-husband, Ted, had left six years before; she worked with some great friends at a travel agency. Her faithful dog, Max, could not help her, so she had to call someone—Nick told her to call Fullservice Fixit. When she followed his advice, her life changed.

Dean Martini and his father owned and operated Fullservice Fixit; he arrived and, without knowing it, became eye candy for Maisy’s birthday. Since the business was not doing as well as Dean wanted, he also worked part time for a friend of his, Adam, who ran an escort service. At 25, he had enough energy to work two jobs and still keep up his routine. Something about Maisy made an exciting effect on Dean; the age difference did not enter into the situation until the next week when Maisy’s friends gave her a gift for her birthday—a day at the spa, then an evening out with an escort, a limo, and all the perks. Imagine both their surprises when Dean was assigned this “date!”

After trying to ignore their age differences, they became a couple with explosive, frequent, verbally stimulating sensual exploration of their relationship. The magic was evident to anyone who saw them, whether together or separately! And then, the twins came home for Thanksgiving!

Ms. Ruby Storm has written a wonderfully poignant story of unconventional love. The characters are strongly written; it was easy to become part of the story. This book is one any reader will be thrilled to have read. Kudos to Ms. Storm! She has penned a great manuscript!
