Torren and Ryder work together with a secret of their own. Their secret will leave Carmella feeling betrayed and hurt. They have no choice if they are to save her life. She needs them and they need her. It will however, take more than words before they can go forward.

Fyre Brand is a re-release from a 2003 novella that was part of an anthology. It’s wickedly provocative and hot enough to singe. There were times when I felt the need to know more about the characters, their motivations. I felt I never really got to know them and I so wanted to. Much I suspect is due to the length of this story. Even with a prologue and epilogue that gave an all too brief idea of what was happening, I was left with many unanswered questions and a need to know more about the world in which the characters lived. The story starts with a love scene and pretty much ends with one. There are several more in between. These scenes were expertly written and arousing. I enjoyed the story but was left wanting more. If you're looking for an explosive ménage then Fyre Brand is a sure thing.
