Ryan has loved Mia for a long time, and tried to give her the space he thought she needed. It only seemed to drive her further away though. But after all this time he's hoping that she will see sense. When nothing seems to be able to stop her from leaving again, Ryan takes drastic action to make her understand just what she means to him. Mia is defeated and ready to give up when she arrives at the Sterling compound. Ryan has been pining for her but wants her to have the freedom he thinks she needs. After she destroys the place she works at and has to come back to the compound to regain control, he knows he can't let her leave again. The two have some big misunderstandings to work out. Mia is sure that she's going to hurt someone she loves and that's one of the reasons that she wants to leave. Ryan is a strong man who has waited for Mia for a long time, and this time won't take no for an answer. I liked the interaction and the strong feelings the two had for each other, the love really showed through even though they had problems to face. Sterling Files 3: Fyre is a wonderful story with lots of action to carry you through, and one you shouldn't miss.
