| Marassa and Walnik's ship has emergency engine failure during a mission to supply her cousin's rebel forces with weapons to fight the Concordance. Luckily they are close to a small planet that shows up on their star charts as life supporting, even if there is no other recorded information. The planet looks uninhabited but there is little time for reconnaissance as they barely manage a controlled crash landing. Marassa never imagined she'd meet another rebel, but she's instantly attracted to the handsome warrior who has made his stand on Corella 9-C. Cadan was a legendary officer with the Concordance, but now he is committed to saving this beautiful planet and its magical people, the Centaurs. They are innocents and Concordance troops would simply kill them all, then loot the planet's resources. Marassa falls more and more under the spell of the beauty all around her and of Cadan. She begins to think she can make a difference on Corella 9-C to both the Centaurs and Cadan. Will she and Cadan be able to have a future together and save the Centaurs from certain destruction?
Cadan's Cause, Book 2: Galaxy Rogues is a solid sci-fi adventure featuring a very sexy romance. I did not read the first part, but I could follow this story. The hot romance between these two is engaging and draws the reader into not only their relationship but also into the people and things they both love. Both Cadan and Marassa feel honor-bound to complete their missions and protect their loved ones from certain destruction, but the hitch is finding out whether or not they can do it together. Their passionate relationship is part of their culture and adds a lot of spice. The Centaurs are a wonderful addition to the fantastic setting and keep your interest throughout. Walnik was an intriguing secondary character, who I'm sure will have an interesting story of his own someday. The story was well paced and the action scenes kept the pages turning. Cadan's Cause is a very entertaining erotic romance in an action-packed futuristic setting.
