Gale is a physic talent, able to manipulate electricity through his body. He's had a difficult life, even though his parents were well off. They were determined that their son would conform, so they forced him into situations that nearly drove him insane. He's finally at a place that is for people just like him. These were people with talents and abilities far different than the normal population, such as telekinesis and sound manipulation. If he could just find somebody that would want him for himself, problems and all, he would be content.

Michael is in his late thirties, and just about to give up on finding someone to be with. In his current situation, there just isn't anyone he's interested in, until he sees Gale. Something about the younger man calls to him and makes him want to see if a relationship could work. First they have to get past some of Michael and Gales hang-ups…

This fantastic new world that Elizabeth Jewell has created left me wanting more. The two men in this story are both damaged in their own way, and need each other to smooth all the wrinkles out in their lives. I liked Gale, he tried to be a tough customer, but ultimately his vulnerabilities shine through. Michael is the older man, but has just about talked himself into being older than he really is. From the secondary characters in this book, I know that I'll definitely be looking for the next one in this series… I can't wait!
