| Salena Martin never has been able to understand sports, and in fact can't tell one ball from another. Still, every Friday she finds herself among friends ready to watch "the game." However, it's not the men on the television that hold her attention, and instead is sexy fireman, Trevor Branson, a man that runs hot then cold to the attraction between them whenever they converse.
From the very beginning this book draws you in with a strong heroine into games other than the ones she forces herself to sit through and watch with her friends every Friday night. The plot was well written and progresses nicely with a dialogue that was at first embarrassing for the heroine but turned smoking hot, and further made this book a worthwhile read. The sex scenes were explicit, but just right and illustrated the great chemistry Salena and Trevor had between them. What I liked about both characters was their willingness to take a chance on love when they knew it wouldn't affect just their friendship but those of the people in their lives if it didn't work out. Overall, if you're looking for a short story with hot sex and two great characters then look no further, because this book is the one.
