| Astra is an empath of incredible strength, with strong powers she tries to use for the good of all. She was tested at a young age and kept separate from other people lest her powers grow out of control. She's been trained to be cool under pressure, but now there is a lot going on in her life and she finds it starting to spin out of control. What should have been a simple business deal for her company has gone sour, and she has some suspicions as to why. When she meets Timeon and Noah the plans she's carefully laid become much harder to accomplish without emotion.
Noah and Timeon are also strong empaths, but didn't get tested when they were young so people are not aware of the strength of their gift. They have done their research on Astra, and they think that they have made a good pick for their future mate. They just have to convince her of that. Astra is a strong, smart woman and I really liked the fact that she was completely in charge. The men didn't try to take her over except in the bedroom, not because she fought them taking over her life, but because she could obviously handle what was going on. Noah and Timeon start out somewhat arrogant and sure of themselves, but soon learn that Astra is not one to play with. I thought the sex was passionate and hot in the story and the three of them together was meant to be. Although sometimes the connection between the three sometimes didn't seem to be as strong as I like to see, I enjoyed this love story with a twist. There was a lot going on that kept me on the edge of my seat until I was done reading. If you want to try something different, give Games Empaths Play a chance, you won't regret it.
