| Gay Paris, Book 2 in the Heartbreak Anonymous series, focuses on the reunion of Wyatt James and Zach Richards. Six years prior, Wyatt and Zach met in the city of love and after a sizzling affair, which neither expected, parted ways. Now, Zach is back and knows what he wants?Wyatt. Both men discover picking up where they left off as hot as, if not hotter than, their first time around. But will the scars each of them struggle to conceal and the words left unspoken drive an irreparable wedge between them?
I adored the characters in this book. What amazed me most was the author's ability to illustrate the men without boring description. Madison lets the characters describe themselves. Through actions and thoughts, which were complex, contrary, and so "dead on" for two men in this situation, the reader's made privy to the inner workings of both men. However, emotional sap, Gay Paris was not. Zach and Wyatt's motivations were well reasoned and very real. At first, I had some trouble bouncing back and forth between the present and the past, but once I figured out the story's motion, it made sense. Of course, the man sex was divine. Yet the author used the scenes to exemplify each man's duplicity, while emphasizing the bond between the men. If you enjoy your man on man stories with likable characters and a true to life feel in the romance, Gay Paris is a must read!
