| Leda is unmarried thirty year-old fortune teller who isn't really psychic.
She didn't think so anyway. But when a black-eyed stranger, the most handsome
and desirable man she'd ever seen becomes a regular customer for a week, she
begins to see real visions in her crystal ball. Visions of herself with this
man in the most erotic and carnal of activities. It's a week of hell, of pure
sexual frustration as these visions unfold before her and the black-eyed
devil tempts her to tell him what she sees...
Gaze is a unique and original story where many of the very explicit sexual scenes occur in the heroine's mind. While the author had an intriguing voice and good sense of humor, the asides sprinkled throughout the story were quite distracting in a story where the reader had to go constantly between reality and what was in the heroine's mind. That said, the ending was immensely satisfying and appropriate for the story. I'll look forward to more of Blayne Edwards' books.
