Elliott Chandler plans everything in his life right down to the minute detail. He even planned the perfect wedding. What he didn't plan was getting stood up at the altar. The preplanned honeymoon seems like the perfect chance to throw all caution to the wind, alone. But he gets snowed in at the airport, which also wasn't in the plans. Meeting the very sexy Derek Windsor in the airport was also not in his plans.

L.A. Witt shows what a great writer she is with this novella. Upon reading the book's description, I imagined the book to be a challenge for any writer. With nearly half the book's setting spent in the airport, for a less talented writer I would probably be disappointed. Ms. Witt, however, shows her skill through wonderfully written settings and witty dialogue. The main character, Elliott, has his funny little quirks that make him likeable right from the start. Although the reader does not get a clear sense of Elliott's emotional state regarding his jilted state through his dialogue, it does come through pretty clear through his actions. What is reckless behavior for Elliott seems entirely common place for Derek, a fact that makes for good reading. The next installment in this story cannot come out fast enough for this reader.
