| After the death of her fiancé many years ago Miss Sarah Tomlinson removed herself to Wales to live with an eccentric Aunt. To inherit a house in Brighton, Sarah must follow the odd conditions of her distant relative's will and return to society. Presently she encounters unwanted suitors, unexpected houseguests and hereto unmet relatives.
Terrance, Lord Repton, is delighted to find his childhood friend alive and well after thinking her dead these many years. He is determined to never lose his sweet love again but Sarah has made a vow never to wed. Can Terrance convince her to become the next Lady Repton? This entertaining book can be read as a stand-alone, although it is the second novel in the Ghost and Romance series. This is an enjoyable read with good plot twists and witty dialogue. The cast of quirky characters were easy to admire, although I did find I wanted to know more about the hero. This was a solid example of a traditional regency romance. I can't wait to read book three in the series. I will definitely recommend this book and Jeanne Savery is now a permanent addition to my "must read" list.
