Chris was the master of disguise, able to go back and forth between the lines gathering information for his beloved South. He obsesses over the identity of the woman that is respected as a hero by her fellow Southerners and wanted as a traitor by the Union. Until one night when it looks as if the Wolf’s luck has run dry and he finds himself saved by the his ghostly bride. The Ghost and the Wolf Scout is a historical romance that takes readers back in time to a worn torn South. This epic story will touch the emotions of the readers as they experience the violence and heartache of this violent era. Exciting action coupled with edge of the seat suspense will have readers anxiously glued to their computers as this story is played out before their eyes. Gwyneth and Chris make a wonderful couple. Heroes both they struggle against those that have brought violence to their land. Their united cause brings them together leading to their relationship as if predestined. Their relationship will be tested over and over again as they face numerous dangerous and life altering situations. Readers will embrace this couple in a way of legendary romances. At times the dialogue seems forced and interrupts the smooth flow of the story. Although able to over look the overly flowery language the dialogue at times seemed unconnected to the situation and unnecessary. When a touch or a look coupled with a word or two would suffice a speech would take place when it would seem the character should be unable to speak. The story lives up to what readers have come to expect in historical romances. The overall story line and plot of the story is wonderful and creative leaving readers wanting more. For lovers of history, The Ghost and the Wolf Scout by M.C. Scout is recommended for their entertainment.
