Giving Up is the third book in the Truth or Dare series. I was surprised it wasn't an m/m story, maybe the author was cautious of making all the brothers gay. At any rate, it's a nice addition to the series and I was thrilled to revisit with the family, especially Terry and the twins. I love the family connection and the weekly poker games are a nice touch. The author gives a more in depth account of Brandon and his issues with control alluded to in the earlier stories. The story is well written and definitely illustrates the author's ability to write kinky, very hot and sexy love scenes no matter the genre. I got a kick out of one particular moment in the book regarding a "missing person". I didn't see that one coming at all. I'm still on the fence about Arden and Brandon being a couple. I really didn't connect with her. Maybe I was just a wee bit disappointed Arden wasn't a man. All in all, the read was an enjoyable one and I look forward to Dan's story. I'm hoping the author also has plans for Rick and Bastion.
