| The ghost of matchmaker Fancy Mitzki must connect five couples by midnight Valentine's Day in order to be reunited with her beloved husband Hiram in the afterlife. Her modus operandi is to commandeer the elevator and use it to her advantage. She starts with a busy waitress and a talented reflexologist then moves on to a bashful accountant and a fervid dance instructor. Up next are a disenchanted rock star and a melodic classical pianist and rounding out the group of amorous elevator passengers is a businesslike building manager and a dedicated elevator repairman.
I loved this book, it melted my heart and my panties! The story-line was well paced and fabulously written. All of the characters were full of life and I adored each and everyone, who can resist such strong women and sexy men. I've just put the book down and already I'm having Fancy withdrawal. I just love this spectral romantic who is determined to spend eternity with her beloved and she won't let any stubborn singles stand in her way. I'm hoping that she and her spouse can work side by side to bring together more deserving lonely hearts. Going Down? is a book I'd already recommended to friends before I'd even finished reading it!
