David is back on the dating scene for the first time in eighteen years. He decides to jump right in by going to a bar where he picks up Brandon, a hot, young stud. David is feeling awkward and uncomfortable; Brandon's trying to ease him into dating again. The book description describes complications when Brandon makes a confession. I was expecting that confession in the early part of the story. It wasn't in the beginning.

This story is so cute and sweet. Mr. Juris wrote a story that had me feeling what David felt -- uncomfortable and awkward in the beginning, then hot and more than comfortable by the end. Brandon was a bit of a surprise and was everything I think a hot, young stud should be. David is a decent man and I liked that fact he was uncomfortable not only with his re-entrance to the dating scene but also with certain slang terms that youth seem to use easily.

When Brandon finally broke through David's barriers, it was not just a sweet story, it was hot. The two of them had incredible chemistry. When I finished, I was not only fanning myself, I was smiling about how good they were. By the time we got to Brandon's confession it was just the icing on the cake. I'm so happy I read this as I enjoyed this story very much.
