Jarrah Donaldson is a horticulturist who inherited a home and 85 acres in Hunter Valley in Australia from George and Joy, an elderly couple who were close friends of hers. Their deaths made Jarrah realize what’s important in life. Now Jarrah lives for the moment and doesn’t take anyone or anything for granted. She meets her neighbor Twain Morgan who makes cheese and doesn’t seem to like her interrupting his hermit-like existence. Twain’s wife died 4 years ago and he has lived there for 5 years. There is immediate sizzling chemistry between Jarrah and Twain. He has a German Shepherd puppy named Abel who takes to Jarrah immediately and visits her daily. Jarrah’s favorite part of the house is the gardens. George and Joy had raised orchids and there are several orchid houses. Jarrah loves growing things and plans to regenerate all the gardens – which include orchids, roses and vegetables. Jarrah is an easy person to be around and very open. Will Twain give their mutual interest a chance to grow?

Jarrah and Twain are very interesting characters. Jarrah is a person who has an ease about her and enjoys life. Twain has isolated himself since the death of his wife and finds it irritating to be attracted to Jarrah. This story is about happiness, love and laughter coming back in your life after overwhelming grief and loss and the joy that follows. This story will make you feel good. I recommend it to everyone.
