| London's ton had all but given up on Lord Richard Stuart, the sixth Earl of Lyons ever making a promising matrimonial alliance. And he is taken completely unawares by an angelic vision, instantly torn between drowning in her pale blue eyes and devouring her smooth, glowing alabaster skin inch by inch.
As one of the Dearg-due vampires, only a bloodmate's blood will full sate Richard's vampire thirst and desires. And it is not that easy to find a woman who has all of the requirements: highly intelligent, love of the quiet life, good conversationalist, and the patience to live with a seven hundred year old vampire who is stuck in his ways. Now that he has found his sensual and passionate mate Richard is not going to let her escape…his Gothic Passions. Lord Richard's Irish brogue captures Lady Lilly Devlin's ears, while his obsidian eyes capture and mesmerize her soul. He visits her in her at night, encouraging her to believe that he is nothing but a dream, allowing her the chance to revel in newly awakened passions and lusty explorations. But holding his own unruly and lusty passions in check torments Richard again and again and again……… A fulfilling marriage to Lilly is on this rake's mind and Lilly, enticed by the memories of torrid dreams and the temptation of his unbridled and passionate touch, agrees……but not everyone is happy about this match. Deceit and treachery follow are sure to follow……… I enjoyed Ms. Summer's descriptions of the ton. The sassy and headstrong heroine, a caring but manly hero, and a devious and unrepentant relative all add up to a most entertaining and lusty regency romp. And you have to admire those vampires who give mind-blowing pleasure and ultimate sexual satisfaction using just their thoughts…you will have to just see for yourself. Ms. Summers has a delightful way of describing her characters that brings them to life for the reader and she offers some new views on old subjects. I look forward to seeing more from her in the future.
