| Blood Wolf: Traveling to Scotland with her cousin who had inherited a castle from her grandmother, Suzanne found herself in danger one night while out for a bite to eat. Coming to her aid was Damian MacGowan, the caretaker's son. Scared and a little wary of Damian's sexual advances and possessive ways towards her, Suzanne soon finds herself along with Damian, caught up in a fight with the other supernaturals who dwell in the town near the castle. A fight that was as old as time, wolf against vampire. The intense and unexplained need Damian felt for Suzanne had him out of sorts and searching for answers. And you could feel those feeling coming across quite strongly in this story. Suzanne had to fight to establish her own will against Damian's dominant ways both in and out of the bedroom. She felt as if she was on a roller coaster. But painful events from her past would keep her from truly enjoying the one man who held the key to her happiness. As a wolf shifter, Dimitri had lots of unanswered questions and having to deal with finding his mate and his natural enemies, the vampires, was not making life easy. But with the strength of their bond growing stronger each day, they will find themselves facing an evil so strong and unlike nothing they had ever met, that it makes this story one of the best books I've read this year.
My Lord Werewolf: As Cassandra and Connor both fought their own feelings for each other, they eventually realize that it was a losing battle. Filled with despair and rage at the way his whole life had been, Connor struggled not to involve Cassandra in the hellish nightmare he lived everyday. Cassandra, although brave in many ways, was quite unprepared for what she eventually learned about Connor. With tender touches and poignant lovemaking, Connor show his feelings towards Cassandra in many ways. And when Connor faced the one who had betrayed him in every way, Cassandra stood up, firm and determined to help him fight the one who he had believed was a true friend. But will Cassandra want Connor after she found out that he had been keeping a very important secret from her? One which was the key to her happiness?
