Hannah Murphy had worked very hard to become independent and raise her son, Tim, despite the interference from her ex-husband, the no-good Frank. Hannah had opened Murphy Realty in Ophelia, Texas. Her thirteen-year-old son was causing problems with his vandalism. She needed to sell property to enable her to come up with money for tuition for a military school for Tim. He needed a role model, but Hannah did not need a man in her life. That was too bad because Miss Daisy Hemphill, aged 75, and her Ladies Marriage Prayer Circle had never failed. When they prayed for a husband for Hannah, she was determined to ignore them.

Enter Logan Kimbrough. His hippy parents had camped at Miss Daisy’s riverbank years ago and she delivered Logan. He had kept in touch with her all these years. The morning of the marriage prayer circle meeting, Logan knocked on Miss Daisy’s door. He had quit his six figure job in Houston. He wanted to start a motorcycle shop in the small town of Ophelia. It was quickly obvious that this ‘biker dude’ was not going to work for Hannah. He had too many similarities (though most were imagined by her) to Frank, her irresponsible ex.

Ms. Taylor Manning has written a great book with a different view of bikers’ personalities. Her characters were solid and very enjoyable. The supporting folks were witty, sharp, and even comical at times. There were quite a few cast members in this book but they all melded together to create this light-hearted happily-ever-after book. The small town had various authentic qualities in the towns’ people.

The sensuality was woven throughout the entire book and the innuendos were perfectly described through the unfolding manuscript. I can actually picture these people—from the town slut to the pastor of the church. There were surprises which arose throughout the book which were comedic and some were poignant.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to almost everyone. There was only one occasion which was scorching sexuality. Otherwise, it would be perfect for all ages.
