Jax is a cop. He lives by his own personal code of ethics and honor. When he finds an unconscious man holding a bloody machete, at a grisly crime scene, it's hard for him to believe that such a beautiful and innocent person could have committed such a gruesome crime.

Gabriel awakens to a bloody scene and no memory of what happened. He finds himself charged with multiple murders. Can he regain his memory before he is charged with these crimes?

I liked this book. There is just enough suspense and heat to make it interesting. The plot, while not necessarily new, is well written and keeps the reader engaged in the story. The only thing that bothered me is that it switches back and forth between Jax's and Gabriel's points of view, but not always smoothly. You need to be paying attention. The characters are all well written and fit well within the context of the story. I liked Jax because of his quiet strength and his honor. Gabriel is well written but I really found it hard to believe he could be that naïve. There are some steamy m/m scenes in the book but they fit well with the story and are not awkward in any way. All in all this is a good book to read if you want to fill some time.
