| Mentally burned out from overworking and emotionally burned out from a divorce from an abusive husband, Haley escapes to her cabin for some much needed rest and relaxation. Exhausted and under intense stress from his job as a police detective, Jeremy accepts the use of his brother’s cabin for some much needed rest and relaxation. The cabins are located near each other, and once the two meet the attraction is instant and unstoppable.
You just have to admire Haley for her determination and strength of character. She has been through so much and still retains a strong sense of who she is and what she wants. Jeremy is your typical alpha male, strong and dominant, but with such a soft spot for Haley it scares him. This story flows seamlessly from the beginning, rich in detail and character development. Their love scenes are numerous and exciting, making it very hard to put down the book. The secondary characters were interesting people and I certainly hope we get a story for Jeremy’s brother, Brad, and Haley’s brother, Rick. Hint, hint! This story features a dream where a F/F/M ménage occurs, but overall rating is very sensual.
