Dean has never stopped loving Creigh and divorce papers haven't changed his feeling one bit. Dean knows all it's going to take is patience, forgiveness and love so they can happily live and love even after. Author Lena Matthews doesn't disappoint with another extraordinary story where heartache, love, laughter, adventure and passion collide for a romance that shines with brilliance. Happily Even After is a dynamic prose, with realistic details and memorable characters which adds up to an engaging, emotionally intense read that is almost impossible to put down. Dean and Creigh are incredible characters who are not only well-developed but who continue to grow and mature throughout the story. By delving deeply into each of the main characters heart the reader is treated to a realistic portrayal of a two people who still love each other but who have past mistakes to work through as well as an unexpected twist that helped create a second chance. The author never actually explains the details or issues that caused the divorce so the reader is left wondering what exactly went wrong to drive these two people apart. The kids, Harlow and Hamilton are enjoyable, interesting and well-defined characters that add to the story wonderfully. The sex is smoking hot, tender, passionate and emotional. Readers will be held captive to the deep bond that exists between Dean and Creigh, two people who have loved each other forever. The additional drama that comes from the identity of the baby's father adds tension to the characters that works to strengthen their connection. A romantic story that hits all the right notes perfectly!
