| This anthology is about finding the perfect person and making your own "Happy Ending." There are thirteen short stories by authors in the romance field. The stories are based in US and several other countries, so there is a lot of variety in the locations as well as the situations.
One of my favorites is "A Taste of Italy" by Sommer Marsden. Anne's friend Shonna has set her up with a date for a small dinner party. Thinking Anne needs a new man in her life, or at least some hot sex, she fixes her up with a sexy Italian who starts seducing her at the dinner table. Another interesting one is "Dog Gone It" by Chelsea Fox. Remy and Ty, a police officer, meet awkwardly and don't like it each other from the beginning. Remy's friend Liz knows them both and sets them up in a situation where they have to spend the weekend together and neither can afford to loose the bet by being the first to walk out. First, I did not agree with the official blurb about the sensuality rating. I rated the sensual scenes explicit mostly out of number and content but they ranged from 2 to 4 out of 5 in my opinion, not all "hot" as the publisher claims. Another problem for me personally, is that while the book's description states clearly that the stories vary (M/F, F/F, and M/M), it would have been nice to know that category at the beginning of the story so you could pick and chose which ones you want to read since some people may be offended by certain combinations. For example, one story that disturbed me was about a man going to a party for his twelve-year-old niece only to have this young child try to match him with another gay man. Overall, I think some of the stories are okay, some not so good, and some are a bit strange. I can't eagerly endorse it, but some people may enjoy it.
