James Colfield accepts a job as senior editor at a large publishing firm in Toronto. The job looks like it'll be right up his alley with a promotion already in the works. He can't keep his eyes or his hands off his boss. Before we know it they're both out of a job.

Cherie Amour has aptly titled this book as the two can't seem to get control of their raging hormones at work or anywhere else. It's a subtle thing but I don't like James much. He seems to move in on Elizabeth too fast and too furious with sweet talk and seduction. She's always the one left looking bad in front of the boss. He seems to pick up and move on, getting in the good graces of the boss, outwardly unaffected by their romance. She's made to appear inept. Every reader will have their own opinion but to me it looks like Elizabeth fell right back into a relationship that looks good on the surface but she'll be the one hurt in the end. The author makes this romance so close to what often happens in real life that it's almost scary.
