| Hero Sandwich by Angela Knight Paparazzi is a photographer with super hero powers. Meg Jennings uses a suit that gives her the ability to fly and turn invisible; her photos of other super heroes battling their deadly enemies earn her living. Two of her subjects, Cougar and his sidekick Lynx, find themselves the butt of late night TV jokes. Not being men to take insults lightly they determine to capture Paparazzi and take a little erotic revenge. Hero Sandwich is one fast roller coaster ride of an erotic super hero fantasy! Take a reformed bad girl all grown up and gone strait. Add two of the baddest good guys she ever ran from; tangle them all up on the fold down seats of a fantastic jet car and you can imagine who the filling for this hero sandwich is! For anyone who enjoys a comic book hero and thrilled to the idea of what’s really under that suit, this is a rollicking good sexy read! Phew! Hot is not hot enough to describe the sex, but there is also a touching link between these super heroes that makes their story even more interesting. I was not expecting too much when I saw how short this story was but I was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed it and would like to see more about sexy Cougar, plucky Paparazzi and the smoldering Lynx.
Candy for Her Soul by Sheri Gilmore Candy for Her Soul is an intriguing love story with both dark and quirky magical elements. There are m/m/f scenes but the personal history and entwined fates of these three is very well written and arousing. It certainly kept my interest with some unexpected twists as well as some very erotic and sensual sex. Natalie is a plucky heroine who finally has a chance to revisit sexual attractions she’s had since she was a young girl. The devilishly sexy Luke seems familiar to everyone and is a mystery figure. I’d like to know more about him! David, Nico and Natalie are very sensual together and the story reveals how true love, even one outside the norm, can prevail.
Fortune’s Star by Morgan Hawke Fortune’s Star features delightfully different shape shifters or ghosts than I have read to date. It is richly plotted, the story pulled me in, I wanted to find out what would happen with each interesting character. The futuristic world was well described and equally fascinating. The heroine is a very talented woman who has to deal with a psychic gift that is as much a curse as a blessing. Our heroes are more shrouded in mystery but are revealed to be strong, protective and extremely sexy males. There is a m/m sexual connection as well as intense m/f/m ménages. M/M may not be to everyone’s taste, but when the loving relationship between Amun and Leto is revealed through Luxi’s perspective I choked up. The love story that develops among these three “misfits” is very touching as well as Hot. Ms Hawke is adept at showing romantic relationships while building exotic, erotic tension to reveal some of the most orgasmic sexual scenes out there! This is a winner on all levels.
