Brooke Miller had just broken up with Douglas, her crappy ex-boyfriend. He constantly put her down and made fun of her art work. She was working on a self-help personal course and was supposed to do something completely spontaneous. She went to this bar where no one knew her and decided to pick up the cowboy. Since there were no cowboys in Boston, he had to be from out of town.

This explicit tale of a one-night-stand turned into something else. Both Liam and Brooke had no intentions off hooking up with a member of the opposite sex, but it was clearly not a one-night-stand to either of them. Ms. Isabelle Drake has presented a couple of fabulously interesting main characters. The supporting cast made the book multi-level and even more interesting.

There were surprises in the storyline. When Brooke found out that Liam was the contractor who was completing her art gallery, she knew they would be seeing each other again. This just increased the sensuality of the book. The sex was explicit and graphic but it didn’t take away from the plot of the book. I recommend this book highly. Yes, it’s graphic, but highly enjoyable.
