| As soon as Jill Carey sees Bliss House she knows this is the house meant for her. The realtor tries to talk her out of purchasing it, because two ghosts haunt it. Cyrus Bliss and Laura Randall haunt the house. When Jill purchases the house, Cyrus and Laura finally believe that maybe their curse will end and they will be allowed to be together. They are cursed because they loved each other without being married - and technically Laura was married to someone else. Her husband was abusive and Cyrus had him sent to prison, when he busted out of prison he found them together killed them and cursed them. The curse can only be broken if one of their relatives falls in love and can marry his or her love and will come and live in Bliss House.
Jill wants to renovate the house and starts looking for a contractor to do the work. She has trouble finding anyone willing to do the work because of the house’s reputation. She finally receives a call from Kyle Randall who needs the work for the winter. Kyle wouldn’t want the job but he has responsibilities. His brother is paralyzed and needs lots of medical attention and his daughter is in a vegetable state and is in a home for special needs patients. The home is beautiful but requires lots of cash to keep her there. So he takes the job even though he feels uncomfortable in the house like he’s being watched. The ghosts are even more excited and hopefully now that Kyle is there since he is a direct descendant of Laura’s. But both Kyle and Jill have lots of past issues to deal with before they are ready or willing to have a lasting relationship with anyone. Though the sexual heat is instantly hot between the two of them. Hopefully the love between the two of them will be enough to save them and to save the ghosts. But to get there they will have to forgive themselves and face their pasts. This book has hot sex, ghosts, and a wonderful love story, tortured pasts - what more could you ask for to get wrapped up in? I couldn’t put this book down until I knew if Kyle and Jill could work things out for everyone to be happy. This book will have you experiencing every emotion and is very well done. This one I will be revisiting often.
