| Danni Jones thought she was a throw away kid, one of those placed in foster care because no one wanted them, and she suspected it was because of her unusual ability to see some things that weren't actually there. When the sexy Sean Ballagh shows up to take her home to her family in Ireland and tells her that her father is alive and that she had disappeared as a small child and most people thought she was dead, Danni is afraid to hope. The only way to find out the secrets contained in Danni's past is to return to Ireland, back in time, and see the events herself.
Danni is an unusual character and not for her paranormal gifts which in Ireland are not that unusual, but for her survival instincts. Danni had a horrible childhood but still possesses a sense of hope that things were not meant to be the way they were. Sean is a threat to Danni's heart and body…her body wants him but her heart can't risk another rejection. As the story unfolds, the reader gets a glimpse of what really happened all those years ago and it isn't what either main character believed. The mystery then becomes can the couple figure out where their lives went off course and can they do anything to change the past and thus their future? I enjoyed the eerie circumstances surrounding how Danni got separated from her family as a small child and the misinterpretation of what happened to not only her family but Sean's as well that left them so separated from where they should have been. If you want a weird, mysterious story with paranormal characters and supernatural circumstances from the past that leave the main characters in an unstable present, then this is definitely the story for you. I'm looking forward to the next book like this due out soon!
