Maggie is shocked when Garner sends her divorce papers. They were partners and now he is gone. She decides to keep busy and forget Garner by taking a job at an old southern manor to cleanse it. Maggie is up to her neck in trouble as Simone tries to get the stone, while plotting to destroy Maggie so she can have Garner as her own. This book is filled with adrenaline racing suspense that allows you to feel the characters. It was like Maggie’s breath was near me when I read the part where something precious had been snatched. Garners soft sultry voice could be felt rising from the pages. And the character of Simone, wow that is a secondary character that really knows how to get some action started. This story is filled with enticing tales of vampirism, and passion.

Ms. Connolly has written an exceptional book. The writing is tight with gripping action. She makes her characters very believable in this spellbinding story. Ms. Connolly is a talented author who has an impeccable flare for writing in all her stories. A terrific book to read!
