| This book has something for everyone. Love Heals All Pain deals with all conceivable heartaches imaginable. It has several happily-ever-after's and tells the stories of several loving people set in families. It was captivating and hard to put down. When it was over, I found I had lived through death, destruction, plane crashes, c-section deliveries, love, more heartache, death again, kidnapping and various other horrific actions which normally would not have interested me. This book was a joy to read.
Rachel Connors hadn't returned to her parents' farm for five years. When she decided to leave Aspen to return to Tennessee for the holidays, she wasn't sure she could stand it since she hadn't been home since her brother died. She was facing some medical drama which she didn't want to tell her family about. She just felt that she needed their support while she waited for the test confirmations expected in January. Kyle Landers had worked for Rachel's parents for four years. He had no family left. He answered an ad from Tom Connors for a farm worker. He was treated as family and he resented that Rachel didn't come see her parents. He certainly didn't expect to fall in love with her. She changed his life quickly. After falling and hitting his head on a big rock, Kyle spent two weeks in a coma. That time spent (aware of what went on around him) escalated his relationship with Rachel. I was not too familiar with Ms. Miller. However, I certainly like her simplistic method of telling a story. Her multifaceted book kept me spellbound throughout all actions. The characters were varied and totally loveable. I could lose myself in the myriad activities that took place within the binds of this book. The sensuality was subtle. The chemistry was visible. The book would not be offensive to anyone. I recommend this book to just about anyone who is interested in a complex love story with lasting memories. I will definitely look for other work by this author.
