This is the fourth installment of Emily Veinglory’s Maewyn Prophecy series and those who have read the previous ones will recognize the characters. This was the first story I read in this series but I had no trouble following the existing well written plot line. Giffen and Derek’s characters are well developed and the reader can definitely see that Giffen’s tough exterior hides a soft core & Derek’s need as an incubus to please him make them a perfect match. The dialog is realistic and the way they are reluctantly drawn to each other is very well written. Their steamy love scenes are hot and explicit. Fans of Ms. Veinglory’s works will not be disappointed and readers who are new to her work will quickly become fans themselves. Definitely a recommended read.
