I liked this Gothically intense, quick read. This was a story full of paranormal elements including, an animated statue, self-serving ancestral ghosts, electromagnetic fields and a charmed chest. Micha is the typical brooding dark hero with a slice of geek sexy. I love a hottie in wire-rimmed glasses. I'm sorry to say that I didn't really like Bre and I did not feel a connection with her at all. I would have liked to see a little more about the relationship and history of Sam and Ella as it made such an impact on our hero and heroine. Over all this was a mostly enjoyable tale.
