| Robin Bourne is caught in the middle between two men. Jason MacIntyre hates Randall Stone so much he'll do anything to hurt him. That includes kidnapping Robin and faking her death. When that isn't enough, he sends video tapes that taunt Rand. MacIntyre has underestimated how far Randall will go for his love for Robin. No secluded island is safe enough for a villain as Rand and the team work to find the woman they all care for.
Denyse Bridger has penned a thriller pitting a rogue agent, MacIntyre, against his former team. I was a little surprised by some of the variations in the relationship between Robin and Randall. It was rather on again, off again. Sexy, devoted, erotic, then not. The book held my attention at times but then the plot seemed to wander. The transition between parts of the story was hinted at but not as smooth as I expect from this author. Parts of it shine, showing the storytelling gift I've seen in Ms. Bridger's work in the past but this isn't quite up to par with other books that showcase her ability better.
