Nina Walters is lusting after the sexy voice on her radio every morning. Ty the DJ for WQTB has fasnitated her forever. Nina's friend Cindy works for the same station. So when a contest is coming up with the prize being a date with Ty, she risks her job to give Nina a little advantage. Nina wins the dream date, but will he be everything his sexy voice has made her hope for?

Heat Waves is the story of a fantasy come true. The characters are modern people who live in the real world. Nina is well written. She is a hard working woman and extremely loyal to her friend Cindy. Ty is also realistic, who turns out to be loving and very sexy. The dialogue between Nina and Ty was mostly sweet and interesting. There were a few times when their conversations got quite graphic. But this is a book for adults so I was not offended or in any way by it. Their personalities were also well written and matched their actions. The plot flowed nicely throughout the book. There are a few snags in the perfect relationship building between Nina and Ty, which makes it more interesting to read. I like this book, and think it is perfect for someone looking for a hot, steamy romance.
