Logan knows what Scarlett does for a living, but has a secret of his own to hide. If it is revealed to Scarlett she will have no choice but to destroy him. Evil has invaded the city of New Orleans in record numbers and even though she won't admit it, she needs help. Logan is determined to help her fight the creatures taking over the city, but working so closely together sooner or later his true nature will be revealed.

This paranormal tale is short and quick. Readers will have it done in one sitting and eagerly awaiting the next installment. Scarlett is one serious kick but heroine who doesn't play around. Logan is the sexy ex who comes in out of nowhere and turns Scarlett's world upside down. This pair is certainly not boring and will keep you entertained through the entire story. I can't wait to see what the next Hale book will bring.
