In this unmerciful place, there is no room for error, but soon things start going disastrously wrong, Darquiel has a dark secret, Damien is gravitating toward her despite of it, Hades and Kat are attracted to each other and they have a breakdown in the middle of the Wasteland. But the most frightening of all are the bloody and deadly dreams Hades and Kat start to share.
This is a story with an unforgettable heroine. Hell Kat has truly earned her moniker and it is refreshing to read about a strong woman who can make her own decisions. This is a fast paced story that becomes somewhat muddled towards the end (so what was the deal with the dreams?), but still manages to grab and hold the reader. The ending to the story, however, is ambiguous in more ways than one and the reader is left with many questions. But still, this is a book worth reading.
