If that wasn't bad enough, Mommy Dearest announces to one and all that Muriel is pregnant and her child will bring on the destruction of the world. Family get togethers are always so much fun.
This was another enjoyable, sexy read from one of the flag bearers of women's erotic romance. It had its stand by formula of snark, action, humor and loads of sweaty graphic sex. I always enjoy the author's off beat characters with their biting sense of humor and slightly skewed moral compasses. She has a way with making the completely bizarre seem rather ordinary, and not at all shocking. I always get at least one laugh out loud and usually a couple of chuckles from her books. Eve has a knack for creating wonderfully strong, confident heroines and then infusing them with a biting charm that makes the reader feel as if they've been best friends forever. One of the things that captures me about Eve's books is that they are they are mostly heroine based, and with Eve's girls, that's a very good thing.
