Ali has been in love with Nate, her brother's best friend, for a long time. Nate was also very drawn to her but he avoided her because it was his best friend's little sister. Ali's brother dies and Nate feels guilt for it and they have an encounter but then he pulls away from her. Ali then feels like someone is watching and following her and that someone has been in her home. When someone tries to mug her she heads to Chicago to Nate to ask for help. She knows that something is going on. When she sees the facility she realizes that it is not just a custom motorcycle shop but something more.

I absolutely loved the characters in this story. I was drawn in from the very beginning. Once I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Ali and Nate are really well-written characters. All of the characters in the story are really well written. I loved them all. I love the way that the all interact together and work things out. The Black Knights is a close black ops group and they close ranks. The Black Knights play an important part in the story and I got to know those characters well. The sex is explicit but not frequent. There are definite emotions involved the entire time. The story line does not allow for a lot of sex because they are trying to figure out who is after Ali and the Black Knights. Nate tries to hide and deny his feelings from everyone including himself. There are a lot of twists and turns as the story continues. It keeps you guessing on what is going to happen next. The story is very engaging. This is the first book in this series and I cannot wait for more.
