As Cynthia Harrisson stands at the altar, preparing to say "I do", it hits her: she's about to marry a man she doesn't love. Sure, Jack Brightman is rich, but he's not exactly a Greek God in the looks department. But the man who strolls into the church to stop the wedding and claim Cynthia as his own is.

With his face half-hidden in shadows by his large cowboy hat, Dylan Medea del Casseras is everything Jack isn't. When he tossess Cynthia over his shoulder and takes her as far away from the church, the assembled congregation, and her husband-to-be, she's frightened, yet more than a little excited. But can his wild claims about outer space and his expert fingers entice her into letting him do more than just carry her off into the sunset?

Contemporary relationships and paranormal beings come together in this well-crafted erotic story. Although Cynthia is a vivid, realistic character, Dylan isn't as well fleshed out. I would have liked to know more about him, his needs and desires aside from his unwavering drive and lust for Cynthia. However, the arrogant cowboy will appeal to fans of Western romances, and Ms. Lynn's talent for writing humorous dialogue makes for a light, entertaining read.
