Stephanie Potter had moved from Canada to marry her husband, Justin, whom she had buried two years ago. At 45 years of age, she continued to live in the town of Bottomhill near the Lake District National Park in Northern England. She was known as being the woman who was ‘old frozen hermit!’ She was a self-sequestered woman who lived with her tabby cat, McClary, and was known as ‘Justin’s foreign widow.’ Until recently, she had needed no one around; now she needed some repairs and had hired a summer worker, 25 year old Cullen McKay; he would live on her property and take care of carpentry and other skilled work necessary around the place. It was temporary and, when summer was over, Cullen would leave.

Stef had been alone for a long while; however, Cullen looked great, but he was only 25! She, of course, was much too old for him. It didn’t take long for Cullen to notice her and take action. Stephanie was sure that it was “wrong,” because of their ages; however, she could not deny her interest in Cullen’s body! She had loved Justin, but even he didn’t look like Cullen did!

This is a sexy little quick-paced book with some interesting tidbits; the document could have, in my opinion, been expanded. I would not have tired of reading and hearing more about their story; however, it is not diminished by being shorterit is one of those rare manuscripts that could be presented either way and be great!
