Abby is an elementary school teacher. She takes her class on a field trip, a boat ride on the Niagara River. Everything is going well until the boat has mechanical difficulties and the Coast Guard is called. She gathers her students together only to find that one is missing just as someone shouts "man overboard". Without thinking Abby jumps in the chilly water to save her student, but soon needs assistance herself. This comes in the person of Petty Officer Oliver Robinson, who quickly gets both of them out of the water. Oliver has just been transferred to Buffalo from Miami after a tragic incident during a drug bust. Oliver and Abby are very attracted to one another, but go their separate ways. A few days later, Abby meets Oliver in her apartment building and finds out that he is her neighbor, and that he is even better looking than she remembered. They arrange to go out and let their passion take over. Everything goes extremely well until Abby calls Oliver her hero, which hit a nerve. He picks up and leaves. Abby is determined to help him, but has enough problems of her own to worry about at the moment.

This is an extremely sensual story, with a very good plot line in addition to hot love scenes. The characters are likeable and vivid with very real problems to overcome. This story of a teacher and her rescuer is definitely a keeper and I really recommend it. Once you pick it up you will not be able to put it down.
