| Elizabeth Ward, ex FBI agent, is on the run from the mob. She has information that would put a very powerful man away for a very long time. Triple H Ranch in Montana sounded like a perfect place to hide out and recover from the attack of the man that now wants her dead. Nat Sullivan owns the Triple H Ranch and rents out cottages to help pay for the upkeep. Nat is instantly attracted to Elizabeth, but he suspects she is not all that she says, and by her reactions to him, he wonders if she has been abused. Slowly Elizabeth begins to learn that she can trust a man's touch again. Just as Elizabeth begins to realize she is falling in love, danger catches up with her again.
Her Sanctuary is a story of one woman's torment at the hands of an evil man and her journey to recovery. It is an excitingly emotional story filled with suspense and intrigue. Elizabeth is recovering from rape and a beating. The story takes us through her nightmares and her fear of being touched. Nat is a man who recognizes that he needs to go slow. He is caring and gentle, although things do not always go smoothly and he makes some mistakes. The dialogue flows smoothly and is easily followed. The plot for Elizabeth to recover from the abuse and resolve her difficulties with the mob is concluded. The romance is passionate and exciting. Steamy explicit scenes are described in graphic detail. The suspense of the chase as the mobster follows after Elizabeth as well as the anticipation of the outcome is very thrilling. An enjoyable read and I happily recommend it to others.
