This is the third installment of the Altered Destines series. It can be read on its own but characters from the previous books are prominent in the story. I really like the people in this book. They're strong yet vulnerable. The psychic abilities of the characters add an exciting element to the plot. The sinister forces in the story make for a suspenseful read. Alana has little experience with kindness and caring. She struggles to accept help from Rafe and Gabe. The brothers are amazed by her strength and surprised by her ability to 'hear' their telepathic conversations. The story flows nicely as Alana learns about her past and embraces her future. The sex is steamy and filled with love. Who could resist the two sexy brothers? I highly recommend this story and the entire series.
