Susan Thompson is being pressed to finally set a wedding date by her fianc, Derrick Abernathy. But lately she finds herself uneasy, unhappy with the fact that something vital seems to be missing in her relationship. What could it be? He fits her lifestyle, in just about every way. The only thing she could pinpoint as being possibly not so perfect is their sexual relationship; not so much of it and relatively passionless to boot. She decides to take off for a getaway by herself to really get her thoughts in order, and meets Zeke when she has car trouble in a snow storm.

The chemistry between them is amazing. Their journey over the next few days, along the long, curvy highway toward their destination, shows her that Zeke and Derrick are about as polar opposite as two men could be. The more she discovers about him, the more she learns about herself, about Derrick, and those in her everyday life. She realizes that her life up to this point might have a full daily schedule but that doesnt make for a happy, satisfying future. In short, Zeke is the spark that has turned her entire life around. And she wants that, wants him, badly. He is the vital missing element.

Read this book, romance fans, it has everything a great romance novel can offer; characters who find their soul mates, great dialog, super plot. The fact that the secondary characters are all very nice was very pleasant, not a mean one in the entire taleadds to the story. Definitely a recommended read.
