After visiting the zoo with her sister-in-law and nieces for a day of fun, Alexia came in contact with a weird magician who made a fun day out into a living hell. After her return home, she encountered the same magician sitting in the middle of her bed. Scared and angry at these developments, Alexia contacted her brother for help and soon realized that the creepy magician man was not whom she thought. Her brother had a hidden life that was about to unravel, exposing a new world for Alexia with a husband she had never even known.

Talk about the unusual day in someone's life, Ashlynn not only faced fear, anguish and disbelief in a twenty-four hour period, she found herself living in a whole new world. Frankly Darrian was not only mean, he could be so self-righteous in his beliefs. He definitely needed to be taken down a peg and taught that everyone faces problems in life and that one person's actions does not account for the rest of the world. His treatment of Ashlynn's feelings was so hurtful and show his lack of humanity to the point where I believe fate decided to step in and show Darrian that emotions was something we all need in order to survive. A great, fast-paced story by Ms. Monroe who gives us a good insight into the fairy world and mankind's handling of the unknown.
