This was a poignant and passionate contemporary romance. Both the hero and the heroine are surrounded by an air of mystery and it was interesting to see their characters revealed. I found it easy to connect with Bella in some aspects and near impossible with others which made her a wonderfully complex woman. Quinn was a virile, alpha hero and I would love to be the recipient of his focused attentions. The subject matter was mature and handled with dignity and decorum. The chemistry was clearly evident between Bella and Quinn and this enhanced the deep feelings and their connection. I loved this author's tone and style, I found it almost poetic. I cannot wait to read more.
